Sun and snow at Blue Mountain! The storms and dark black clouds have moved from west to east and we got to see the sun today! Lots of it. It is a winter wonder land in the Georgian Triangle area! Usually I am not too keen on winter, but it is a day like this that makes it all worthwhile.

I heard that Blue is opening this Friday! We’ve had enough snow since last week. The base must be near 2 feet by now. On top of this, Blue Mountain, has been blowing snow! What a great start to the season. In the picture I attached here you can see that mountain is blowing snow. The picture is from a web cam taken on 8:00 AM Dec 8, 2010.
Last Friday, Dec 3rd, the Blue Mountain area did not have snow. After a major dump of snow over the weekend (starting Friday night) we now, on Monday Dec 6, have nearly a foot of snow with another 1.5 feet forecast-ed for today! I took a picture in my sub-division. Here is a little Easter egg hunt for you. My dog is in the picture, she is a Yellow Labrador Retriever.
